Hooray - another tax season is behind us! Last Tuesday, both of our offices were closed for the day and we decided to make an afternoon trip to the zoo. We got there about 3:00 so we didn't have long enough to see EVERYTHING, but probably just enough time for someone not to get too tired! Addy was SO much fun at the zoo this time - it's been awhile since we have been and she was very excited about the animals! At first she kept asking - is that a real (fill in the blank with whatever animal we were looking at)?? Finally she caught on that all the animals were real... except for the dinosaur exhibit.
Love her face. She was so amazed at the big swans - just like on her Barbie movie of Swan Lake!
Buddies!
Ready for a train ride!
The monkeys were fun to watch!
They sat like this for several minutes watching the monkeys. Addy asked if they would ever be still! Ha ha! Funny to hear those words from a child who is almost never still!
Courtney's favorite animal we saw. The gorilla was a big fan of this lettuce but he kept giving us the stare down! He seemed to know what was going on!
All smiles!
Not this lion... the real one!
Pretty zebras!
LOVE this face!
Addy rode in the stroller part of the time but mainly she wanted to walk or be carried so she could see better :)
The giraffes were pretty and so close to us!
Highlight of the day!
We were the only ones on the carousel!
We saved the dino exhibit for the end. Courtney
This T-Rex was pretty huge!
