Easter Sunday

Addy is in the habit of coming to our bed to crawl in the middle every (single!) night.  On Easter "eve" she got in bed with us and whispered... "Mommy, the Easter bunny brought me a pink ball!"  And then a few minutes later... "And some pink flip flops!"  I told Courtney I half expected to get up on Sunday morning and see the contents of the basket strewn all over the living room!

Her new favorite cup

She didn't see everything in the basket in the  middle of the night... she was surprised and excited to get Brave - a movie she had been wanting!

I had been pumping Addy up to wear her new "big sister dress" for Easter since she has been so finicky about clothes.  We didn't get any really good pictures because it was so rainy and dreary that morning before church!

And my child was in the mood to make faces...

This was the "no smile" face (trying to get one without her cheesing!)

This one definitely illustrates that she is Courtney's child!  Ha ha!

Mallory & Addy.
After naptime that afternoon, we headed over to Mia & Pop's house for a big family get together with both sides of our immediate family.  The best treat was that Kyle was home so the table was complete!  We had a very happy Easter spending time with our family, enjoying a day of rest and thanking God for the reason we have to celebrate - a risen Savior!
Addy gave us the handprint bunny she made with Mia.  She was SO proud of it!

She gave Kyle extra hugs for the chocolate bunny he and Deirdre brought her from England!

She was pumped about these new flip flops in her basket from Mia & Pop (2nd basket of the day... spoiled anyone?)

And this was the smile we got anytime we wanted to take her picture while opening her 3rd basket of the day from JJ & Daddy Jim...

Even Audrey got a basket - of course, Addy didn't mind exploring it for her.  We love Praise Baby!

The rain finally stopped and we took a few family pictures outside... my family...

Look at Mia's cute bunny :)

We had WAY too much good food!  Ham, sweet potato casserole, mac & cheese... you know, all the necessities!  Holidays + pregnancy = fun because you automatically are expected to eat a lot!  HA!!
