Addy's Latest Stats...

Courtney and I went for a 4-D ultrasound on Monday so we could take another look at Addison! She was so active in the waiting room but once we got back to the ultrasound room, she had settled in to a comfy spot and didn't move around as much. From what we could see, she has pouty lips, big eyes and it already looks like she has chubby cheeks! They said she was weighing in at 2 lbs, 12 oz which is a pretty average size, I think. I can't wait to see her and hold her... hopefully we will be doing that in 11 more weeks!!

The construction project is still ongoing... about half the crown molding is up but the other half is proving to be a bit of a challenge! I will post pictures when they are done!

Addison's Room

We were finally able to get started on Addison's room this weekend! We have been working to clean it out and have been out of town a lot this summer so we are just now getting started on making it look like a nursery. Courtney led the team of painters that included my dad and his mom and dad. They all worked hard and got the room painted a pale pink shade - we appreciated the help so much! Mom & Kayla helped by keeping me occupied since everyone was freaking out about me being around the paint fumes. We celebrated the hard day's work along with the 4th of July by getting together with both families at Courtney's parents house Friday night for dinner.

We are happy to be able to check off a "big" item on our to-do list!! Here are a few pictures of the beginning of the project...along with the finished product! Next item on the to-do list...install crown molding!
