Courtney's parents invited us to spend the fourth of July at their pool. My parents came too and we had a fun, low-key afternoon and evening. After a delicious dinner, we headed to watch the fireworks at the Lock, right on the river near Kentuck. We had a great view of the sky and we were far enough from the action that the noise didn't bother anyone!

She likes to swim without anything sometimes (and I like for her to practice her skills we learned with Coach Anne) but wearing her floaties or the puddle jumper makes it easier for her to get around on her own in the water and we don't worry about her as much! |
