Christmas Day...

Christmas morning, we had breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls, and sausage rolls… yummy! I love breakfast food! We read the Christmas story and then we got to see what Santa brought… Addy got a pink Addy-sized chair with her name on it and a few Praise Baby DVDs, some clothes and some other necessities like sippy cups, spoons, snack cups and such. I got a necklace in my stocking that is a heart shaped opal (Addy’s birth stone) along with a couple other things I had hinted around about! Courtney got all “1”s (we did the 12 days of Christmas and counted down to Christmas day so he got 1 book, 1 sweater, 1 DVD, etc.)

After gifts we all got ready and headed to my parents’ house for Christmas day. We had our traditional lasagna for a late afternoon lunch/early dinner and we read the Christmas story (can’t get too much of the Christmas story!) and shared gifts with Mom, Dad and Kayla. It was different this year because since we’ve been married, we have always headed to Centreville on Christmas Day so we’ve tried to squeeze my parents’ and Courtney’s parents’ Christmas in to Christmas Eve. It was nice to have it spread out more this year because we didn’t feel so rushed but 4 days of Christmas in a row was a lot for little Addy!
