One Month Old!

On the 16th of June, I made a list of the things I wanted to remember about Audrey at one month.

She still sleeps a lot

And she grunts - a lot!

She has become a good little eater (milk drinker!)

She frequently smiles and even laughs in her sleep

She usually cries only when she's sleepy or hungry or for the occasional tummyache - I don't feel like she cries very much and I really wish she could always keep this sweet, tiny cry voice!

She is accepting of the endless attention she receives from her big sister. Courtney and I just have to laugh at Addy sometimes... She is over the top with hugs, kisses, wanting to see the stinky diaper, giving the paci when Audrey gets upset (actually, very helpful!), etc. Audrey doesn't seem to mind that Addy's hair is in her face every time she gives her a hug or that Addy clomps right through the room in her high heels while she is attempting a nap! We hope Audrey stays this "chill."

 

 

 

Our outings this month were limited! Audrey has been to the doctor, Mia's house, bank and playground (does it count if she stayed in the stroller the whole time?!)

She started outgrowing newborn clothes and wore a size 1 diaper at the end of her first month.

She sort of likes a paci when she's sleepy, but isn't fully addicted yet! She usually spits it out as soon as she falls asleep.

She loves to lay on Courtney's chest to fall asleep.

She seems to like her bath - at least she's not crying!

She eats about every 3 hours during the day (we sometimes have to wake her still) and has been known to go for 6 hour stretch at night! Hallelujah!

We think she weighs about 10 pounds! At her two week appointment she was 8 lb 7 oz (60%) & 20.75" (75/80%).
