At Home with Audrey

Our first month home with Audrey was very eventful!  The day we brought her home was a fun day.

Or course we got her dressed up for the 10 minute drive home.

And snapped a few pictures before we left the hospital...

She wore a sweet pink Feltman Bros. dress we received as a gift from some special friends!

We had quite the welcoming committee when we arrived at our house.
When we pulled onto our street we could see them waving so we had to stop and take a picture on our way by!  Then we got our picture made with the stork - a church tradition!
Addy was SO proud of the poster that she helped make to welcome home baby sis!

Our parents have been wonderful help since Audrey was born!  They have cooked for us, played with Addy, held Audrey, kept one or both girls for us and have been available for whatever we needed!  We are SO thankful for them!

Courtney has had back pain for several months but it got a lot worse right before Audrey was born.  He had a nerve block done a few weeks after she was born and instead of helping, it must have aggravated the nerve because he was actually worse off after the block!  I needed lots of extra help to care for a husband, a three year old and a newborn at the same time.  Thankfully, our friends were providing meals for a whole month after Audrey came and our parents stepped in again to help out.  I don't know how we could have done it without them.  Courtney's back is much better now and we are saying lots of thank you prayers!
