Start of school and our big girl...

Addy is going to the same school this year and they are two weeks in - she loves it!  After a tear-filled beginning last year, I was so relieved that she acted like it was no big deal this year and got right back into her routine.  She has Mrs. Melanee and Ms. Kate and a lot of her friends from last year are in her class again.  So far, they've learned about themselves and how they are special and Jesus loves them (1st week) and the five senses.  Next week is color week and they get to all wear certain colors to school each day!

She was SO proud of her tennis shoes!

I feel like Addy grew up so much over the summer!  She is now potty trained and uses the big potty most of the time, unless she is playing something really fun and forgets to go in time (lovely!)... she has gotten a lot taller, I think... doesn't she look tall here?

Addy still sleeps in her crib and she has to have "P & B" to sleep (paci and bunny) but we've told her when she can learn to sleep without her pacifier and sleep well at night that she can get a big girl bed.  This past Sunday, we (really) couldn't find her paci before bedtime.  We had been talking about the paci fairy coming to take her paci away and give it to a baby that needed it so I think she was prepared!  The "fairy" brought some pink pajamas and Addy totally bought in to the idea... she cried once in the middle of the night because she couldn't find her paci but when I reminded her that the fairy took it, she laid right back down and went back to sleep!  Courtney was sadder than Addy was about her giving up the paci!
