Here are some of the pictures Kayla took at her birthday. We just had a small party with mostly family and a few friends. We had it in the late afternoon and then our family stayed to grill hamburgers and open gifts that night. It was a great day!

Audrey is ONE!
At one year, Audrey was taking several steps, waving hi and bye bye, blowing kisses (sometimes), making funny faces and smiling a lot!!! Her big sister wins the award for getting her to smile the most... followed closely by Daddy. Audrey is his biggest fan! She sometimes says hi, baby and bye bye and can sign more and all done when she wants to. She also does her hands out to the sides to say "where" just like Addy used to do at that age. She is very attached to her bunny that Addy gave her at the hospital when she was born. She needs a lovey and paci when she naps or sleeps at night. She loves strawberries and doesn't love whole milk. She prefers green beans to potatoes and did not love her birthday cake! She gives the best hugs and likes to snuggle. She is a lovey girl! We love her so and she makes our life so full!

6 months old!
Audrey is half a year already! How is that even possible? We had her 6 month doctor's appointment this morning and she was 16 lbs, 4 oz and 26 inches long. She is in the 55% for height and weight (a tiny bit smaller than Addy, but we think she's just right!) She wasn't a fan of the 4 shots she got today. Yuck! Here are some things I want to remember about little sis at 6 months:
She is still nursing 4-5 times a day and is wearing size 6 month and some 9 month clothes! She finally started liking the church nursery this month. They discovered the TV (Cedarmont kids DVD) calms her down so she always has to go in the TV room! Ha!! I am not trying to raise a couch potato!
She tried solids this month. So far she likes pears & oatmeal and doesn't love rice cereal, avocado or carrots quite as much. We will keep introducing new foods because she seems very excited about eating!
She attended her first tailgate (TN game) and she got to play with her friend Julia!!
She started babbling "ma ma ma" a lot... But she loves Daddy too even though she doesn't say his name yet! Ha! She is most intrigued by Addy... All action all the time! She really watches our mouths when we are talking.
She is becoming more flexible and getting stronger... She loves her feet in her mouth and started really bouncing more in the jumper that we have. She loves to stand on our lap more than sit most of the time.
She watched us carve a pumpkin for Halloween.
She smiles SO much!
This month she started rolling from her back to tummy and just the past week she rolls/scoots to get something she wants. We will put her on a blanket with a few toys but before we know it she's off! Here Addy was pointing out where she started :)
She's practicing sitting by herself, but not quite there yet.
She loves to look at (and gnaw on) books!
She got to try out her friend Paul's swing!

Go Fish
Yesterday our family got to join some of our friends from church to fish, ride four wheelers and eat together. We even had a campfire and made s'mores after dark! The kids (and a couple of adults!) had fun rolling down the grassy hill in the dark - Addy didn't want to leave!
I didn't take my camera but snapped a couple of pictures on my phone before it got dark.
Is it just me or does Addy look 12 in this picture?
They caught at least 2 fish before it was time to move onto something else!
Courtney said she held on so tight & was so worried about the battery going dead the whole time they were riding! Ha!! As soon as they got back though she wanted to go again!
Addy gets to see Abby & Brock at school and church! They are sweet friends!
Audrey chilled out and enjoyed watching all the activity. She got to pet her first doggie yesterday and she liked it!
I have so much catching up to do on the blog... I have several posts about Audrey on my phone that I just need to find pictures for. I don't ever have time to upload pictures but maybe I will blog more regularly if I just use the ones on my phone and my bloggy app! We shall see!
