First day of school & kindermusik

Addy started a new year of school in August and she is loving it so far!! She has so much to tell me about what she did that day when I pick her up... She loves being in a class with her friend Marian!



















Audrey started something new too... Kindermusik! I had so much fun getting to do something fun with just Audrey while Addy's at school. Julia is in our class which makes it extra special!

Beach bums

Last month we spent several days at the beach with my family. The weather was nearly perfect and we enjoyed lots of family time! We ate at Margaritaville, Bayou Bill's & Saltwater Grill and mom cooked for us one night so we could enjoy the afternoon and beach sunset.

Addy's favorite things were playing with KK and going down the big slide at Pier Park. Audrey's favorites were avoiding the sand (ha!) and hanging out with her best buddy, Daddy Jim. She also enjoyed riding the balloon ride at Miracle Strip with KK, Addy and me!

The beach with my family means... Daddy Jim's breakfasts, Chilton County peaches, afternoon breezes on the beach, watching sunsets from the deck, Capt. Anderson's (we missed out this time!), catching up on reading (for some of us!), a little late night TV and now with our girls... Looking for seashells, Thomas' donuts, Miracle Strip, and "jumping waves." :)

Panama City Beach -- August, 2014

4th of July

We were excited to head to Panama City Beach for a few days on the 4th of July! My aunt & uncle invited us to join them so Mom, Dad, Kayla, Zack & my crew went down for a long weekend. We were thankful to spend time with our family! I have lots of fun memories at Lynne & Bob's through the years.

Audrey is ONE!

At one year, Audrey was taking several steps, waving hi and bye bye, blowing kisses (sometimes), making funny faces and smiling a lot!!!  Her big sister wins the award for getting her to smile the most... followed closely by Daddy.  Audrey is his biggest fan!  She sometimes says hi, baby and bye bye and can sign more and all done when she wants to.  She also does her hands out to the sides to say "where" just like Addy used to do at that age.  She is very attached to her bunny that Addy gave her at the hospital when she was born.  She needs a lovey and paci when she naps or sleeps at night.  She loves strawberries and doesn't love whole milk.  She prefers green beans to potatoes and did not love her birthday cake!  She gives the best hugs and likes to snuggle.  She is a lovey girl!  We love her so and she makes our life so full!

Here are some of the pictures Kayla took at her birthday.  We just had a small party with mostly family and a few friends.  We had it in the late afternoon and then our family stayed to grill hamburgers and open gifts that night.  It was a great day!
